Did you know? In the United States approximately 54 million people, almost one in five Americans, have a developmental, physical or mental disability. If you are one of the 54,000,000 Americans, there are Rights you should be aware of. You can not be discriminated against by any entity. This includes but is not limited to: Businesses, Employers, Landlords, and Schools. Purdue Calumet has a special program that all eligible students are encouraged to make full use of in Student Support Services. Hoosier A.D.A.P.T. of Purdue Is for Inclusion
The future of Hoosier A.D.A.P.T. of Purdue holds a great deal of promise, but will require a new way of thinking. We our all warrior in a constantly changing world, the traditional warrior concept remains unchanged. Inside each person a powerful and positive force exists, an unfathomable beauty and limitless pool of talent and ability. Inside each one of us, a warrior waits to be discovered. If you have the courage to let him or her out, you can truly live the life of your dreams. Hoosier A.D.A.P, T. of Purdue goal this year is to be more innovative, less conventional and more open to new ideas. With this way of thinking inclusion will follow us into the future at Purdue University Calumet
